Climbing for all....... that's everybody !
Climbing is a fun, safe and exciting experience that can be enjoyed by all. In the past climbing has been seen as an activity only for the older members of the scout movement, but times have changed. With good instruction, modern equipment and extensive knowledge of our local crags and climbing walls we can offer climbing to everybody. That means Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorer scouts, Network and leaders.
Climbing Sessions
First Time Climbers.
A couple of hours down at the wall learning how to put on your harness, climb and belay other climbers.
Wall Nights
A full evening at a climbing wall with your group. We can go to any of the local walls for this evening.
Single Pitch
A night or half day at a single pitch crag or quarry. We have a vast amount of climbing on our doorstep in Lancashire suitable for all levels from first timers to seasoned pro's
Multipitch
A full day climbing up in the Lake District or down in Wales on a big mountain route. This is what climbing's all about and probably why you started in the first place. This is for people who have done quite a bit of climbing before and are ready to take on the challenge of a full day in the mountains.
