The links below are there to assist with activities dealing with Mountaineering.

Accident Procedures and Advice. Required reading for anyone heading for the mountains.

British Mountaineering Council. The British Mountaineering Council is the representative body that exists to protect the freedoms and promote the interests of climbers, hillwalkers and mountaineers, including ski-mountaineers.

Central Beacons Mountain Rescue. The Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team operates in the Brecon Beacons National Park and surrounding areas of Mid Wales and South Wales.

Climbers Club. A UK based club dedicated to the interests of rock climbers and mountaineers.

Edge Climbing Centre. Sheffield's premier climbing wall. With over 1000sqm of top-roping & leading space, and a bouldering room.

Exmoor Search and Rescue Team. A Search and Rescue Team which operates as a Registered Charity in Exmoor and the surrounding areas.

Grampian Club. The Grampian Club is a mountaineering, climbing and hillwalking club based in Dundee, Scotland.

Hampshire Scouts Mountain Team. Voluntary training team within Hampshire Scouts for Mountaineering, Hillwalking, Rock Climbing, Walls Towers, Trekking etc.

Kinder Mountain Rescue Team. Kinder Mountain Rescue Team provides search and rescue services in the mountain, moorland and rural areas of the Derbyshire High Peak, England.

Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team. The Rescue team is based in Llanberis, a busy village nestled at the foot of Snowdon.

Mountain Bothies Association . A charity which looks after about 100 shelters in some of the remoter parts of the UK.

Mountain Leader Training Board. The Board provides nationally recognised training and assessment schemes for leaders of groups participating in mountain walking and single pitch rock climbing.

Mountain Rescue Council. The premier rescue service of its type anywhere in the World.

National Mountain Centre. Plas y Brenin has a special reputation for offering residential outdoor training courses which are informal, challenging, high quality and fun.

Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation. This page will give you some information about what the Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation do as a Mountain Rescue Team in the UK.

Rockclimbing. 'The new hub' on the net to find information on all aspects of rock climbing and mountaineering in Europe and further afield.

Vagabond Mountaineering Club. The Vagabonds is a Merseyside based club who own their own hut, "Pant-y-Fron", which is situated in beautiful surroundings in the Llanberis Pass at the foot of Snowdon.

Welsh International Climbing Centre. Although primarily a climbing centre, they provide far more than just excellent indoor climbing facilities.

Yr Hafod The Mountain Centre. Yr Hafod is a special place, run by Scouts, for Scouts, to enjoy the challenges of the mountains to the full, with the security of competent leadership and the provision of quality accommodation.
